The Muscatine County Conservation Foundation was formed in 1988 with the purpose of supporting the development and enhancement of environmental education and conservation projects in Muscatine County.

It got it’s start as we built the Environmental Learning Center (ELC) at Discovery Park. This building is a state-of-the-art facility and home to Muscatine County Conservation offices.

For the past 36 years, the Foundation has supported numerous projects including updating displays within the Learning Center, development projects, and environmental education.

The Muscatine County Conservation Foundation and its associated Friends organization is a nonprofit as define by Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service. Contributions are tax-deductible.

Friends are recognized in our quarterly newsletter. There is also a beautiful butterfly display in the Learning Center that is updated annually to thank our Friends and show our gratitude.

We would love to count you among our Friends! Please consider a gift to the Muscatine County Conservation Foundation today!

Thank you for supporting conservation projects in Muscatine County!
