About

Saulsbury Bridge Recreation Area has three campgrounds each managed under a self-registration system. Campsites cannot be reserved.

Firewood is available in the main campground for a fee. No out-of-state firewood is allowed in MCCB areas.

Campsites have picnic tables, fire rings, and on-site parking. Tent camping only sites (Area A Chicken Creek) do not have on-site parking. Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis only.

Camping Specials for 2023

  • FREE Wednesdays: Camp for FREE any Wednesday from April – October
  • 2 for 1 Weekends: Camp in any of the Saulsbury campgrounds the first night (Friday) at the regular price and stay the next night (Saturday) for FREE on the weekends listed below.

May 5-6 & May 19-20
June 2-3 & June 16-17
July 7-8 & July 21-22
August 4-5 & August 18-19
September 1-2 & September 15-16
October 6-7 & October 20-21

Main Campground $20/night

  • Camping fee for those with a permanent handicap is $15/night
  • Coupon book: 6 nights for $100; Available from the park ranger or at the Environmental Learning Center
  • 24 camping spurs (Sites 1-24)
  • Electrical hookups
  • Modern restrooms and showers
  • Drinking water
  • Dump station
  • Campground host

River Campground $17/night

  • Camping fee for those with a permanent handicap is $15/night
  • 9 camping spurs (Sites 25-35)
  • Restrooms (vault toilets)
  • Showers available in Main Campground

Primitive Camping Area $10/night

  • Primitive environment
  • Tents only
  • No vehicle parking at the campsite
  • Limited picnic tables and fire rings
  • Restrooms and showers available in Main Campground

Please help keep our campground beautiful!

  • Clean up your campsite before you leave
  • Place trash in dumpsters not in the fire rings
  • Do not burn pallets and construction materials containing nails, screws or staples
  • Do not leave firewood, tree limbs or scrap wood by the fire rings or in mowed areas
