Situated in a scenic wooded setting near the Cedar River in the Saulsbury Bridge Recreation Area, Saulsbury Lodge offers a pleasant option for group gatherings. The lodge comfortably seats up to 75 people (tables and chairs provided) and offers kitchen facilities and modern restrooms.

The Saulsbury Bridge Recreation Area Lodge is available for daily rentals.
Youth Groups & Conservation Groups (Discounted price requires a coupon code by contacting our office!)
- $80/day weekend use (Fri – Sun)
- $60/day (Mon – Thurs)
- Overnight stays (youth groups only $120) require prior approval by contacting our office 563-264-5922 or email us.
Weddings/Receptions – Must reserve the Lodge for 3 consecutive days
- $110 x 3 days = $330 plus pay the $40 Wedding Reception fee = total cost is $370

All Other Users – Day Use Only
- $110/day on the weekends (Fri-Sun)
- $90/day on weekdays (Mon-Thurs)
Early Set-up may be available for an additional $50. Contact the office for availability.
Renters will be charged an additional fee if the building and surrounding area is damaged.
A $40/hour cleaning fee will be charged if the building and surrounding area has not been cleaned properly.
Special Use Permits
Are required to hold any event that meets one or more of the following criteria. The application must be filed with Muscatine County Conservation at least 45 days before the event. There is a non-refundable application fee of $25 and proof of liability insurance is required.
- Any event where 100 or more people are expected to attend.
- Weddings and/or Receptions
- Any event that charges admission
- Any event that is advertised as open to the public
