Come learn the basics of fishing with several education stations and then put your newfound fishing knowledge to use and participate in the Kids Fishing Derby.  Prizes awarded for several categories.
Lunch will be served in the playground shelter at noon for those who participate. 
Bring all of your fishing gear plus bait, there will only be a few poles that can be borrowed.   
Pre-registration is requested.  Check-in starts at 8:30 day of the event at the front pond.
